Defining The Operational Tempo of Modern Space Warfare

This panel begins with the warfighter's requirement: how quickly must commanders be able to act, reposition forces, generate additional capability, or respond to changing conditions during conflict?

From there, the discussion will test that requirement against the realities of the enterprise that must support it. Military operators, launch and range leaders, and commercial industry will examine the timelines, capacity, infrastructure, processes, and dependencies that determine how quickly space combat capability can actually be generated and made available to the warfighter.

The discussion will distinguish between demonstrating responsiveness once and sustaining operational tempo throughout a conflict. Panelists will explore where today's enterprise can meet commander-required timelines, where it cannot, and what must change to close the gap.

The objective is not to allow current logistics or acquisition timelines to define the pace of operations, but to identify the capabilities and capacity the enterprise must develop to support the pace demanded by the fight.
