SpaceCom Space Act Agreement Continues Longstanding Collaboration with NASA
ORLANDO, Fla. (October 26, 2026) – National Trade Productions (NTP), producer of SpaceCom, and NASA have signed a Space Act Agreement that builds on years of collaboration on SpaceCom, the annual event connecting commercial, civil, and defense space communities.
SpaceCom, recognized by Trade Show Executive as one of the 50 fastest-growing trade shows in the Unites States, returns January 13-14, 2027 to Orlando, FL. SpaceCom brings together commercial space, civil space, defense, government, academia, investors and technology leaders to connect mission requirements with emerging capabilities, infrastructure and business solutions. The agreement provides a framework for continued NASA collaboration on program content, technical discussions, and engagement with the broader space community.
“The continued growth of the commercial space economy creates important opportunities for technical exchange between government, industry and the broader aerospace community,” said Suzy R. Cunningham, Strategic Implementation & Partnerships Manager, NASA Office of Communications at Kennedy Space Center; and SpaceCom Strategic Council Member. “Bringing subject-matter experts and industry professionals together around shared priorities helps expand understanding of emerging challenges and capabilities while strengthening the connections that support future space missions.”
NASA’s involvement is part of a broader SpaceCom program featuring speakers and exhibitors from across commercial industry, civil space, defense, federal agencies, international organizations, spaceports, academia and the technology and infrastructure communities.
“The next generation of space missions requires participation from the entire space community,” said Ryan Brown, Executive Director, SpaceCom. “SpaceCom is designed to connect mission needs with the commercial, defense, technology, infrastructure, investment, and international communities that can help turn ambitious objectives into scalable capabilities. This agreement gives us a framework to make those connections more intentional and more useful to NASA, industry and the broader space community.”
SpaceCom is part of Commercial Space Week 2027, taking place January 11–14 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. The week brings together the Global Spaceport Alliance Spaceport Summit, Space Mobility, SpaceCom, and the Commercial Space Week Expo, connecting commercial space, civil space, defense, government and industry in one location.
