Jon Beam
Jon Beam is Co-Founder, President, and Chief Strategy Officer of Rogue Space Systems, where he helps build the uncrewed logistics infrastructure needed to operate sustained, high-cadence missions in low Earth orbit. Rogue focuses on hosted payload and persistent platform operations, autonomous rendezvous and proximity operations, in-space cargo movement, and an edge compute roadmap to support data-driven and AI-enabled space operations. His work is centered on turning emerging orbital activities, including in-space manufacturing, servicing, and refueling, into repeatable “campaign operations” supported by standardized interfaces, resilient communications, and scalable logistics.
Jon has led and contributed to more than two dozen SBIR/STTR efforts across defense, civil, and commercial partners. He also serves as Vice President of CONFERS, supporting industry-led standards and best practices for rendezvous and servicing, which are foundational to scalable orbital logistics. His earlier career includes work in neuroscience, software engineering, and manufacturing consulting, experiences that shape his focus on measurable operations, disciplined process design, and practical path-to-scale architectures.
At SpaceCom, Jon will moderate a panel on scaling in-space manufacturing from demonstrations to operational campaigns, highlighting the architecture trade space, hybrid “factory travels vs. factory stays” models, orbital location and governance considerations, and the scale-enabler demonstrations and metrics that unlock cadence while maintaining safety, mission assurance, and mission relevance.
