Matthew Voss
Matthew Voss is President of NearSpace Launch and Executive Director of NearSpace Education, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization focused on education, workforce development, and expanding access to aerospace opportunities for students and underserved communities.
Through both organizations, Matthew works to connect commercial space missions with hands-on educational experiences that prepare the next generation aerospace workforce. NearSpace Education supports student satellite missions, makerspaces, STEM programs, and workforce initiatives that allow university students to participate directly in spacecraft development and on-orbit operations.
Under his leadership, NearSpace Launch has supported more than 1,000 spacecraft systems and subsystems delivered on orbit while helping create pathways for students and young professionals to enter the growing space industry. Matthew is a frequent speaker on workforce development, public-private partnerships, rural innovation, and building sustainable aerospace ecosystems through education and industry collaboration.
