Ryan Roberts is a Principal in the Deloitte & Touche LLC Government and Public Services (GPS) Cyber Practice where he is responsible for managing delivery across multiple cyber defense projects. He focuses on developing cybersecurity capabilities in the non-traditional IT and mission system space.

Over the past 25 years, he has developed a strong understanding of IT hardware and infrastructure, as well as the challenges in defending enterprises against cyber-attacks. He has leveraged this experience in both the commercial and Department of Defense (DoW) sectors to help secure and defend critical infrastructure. This work includes serving as the Tier 2 Computer Network Defense Contractor lead for the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) and focused implementation of cyber defense capabilities across multiple critical complex mission systems for the intelligence community, The U.S, Air Force, U.S. Space Force and the Missile Defense Agency.

Additionally, Ryan serves as the Space Cyber Leader within Deloitte’s Space practice. In this role, Ryan leads the firm's efforts to help government clients enhance the cyber resiliency of their space operations and enterprises. Ryan has also overseen the development, launch, and operation of Silent ShieldTM, an on-orbit cybersecurity intrusion detection system payload aboard the firm’s first satellite, Deloitte-1. This payload is designed to defend on-orbit assets against cyber-attacks through near real-time data collection and analysis that proactively detects anomalous activity and enhances the space operator's effectiveness in the space domain.

He lives in Colorado Springs with his wife and three daughters and has a passion for helping veterans as they transition into civilian life.
