Steve Clarke

As the Chief of Mission Solutions at Advanced Space, Steve provides leadership, strategy, and technical and programmatic expertise in support of company objectives to enable the sustainable exploration, development, and settlement of space. He is responsible for program leadership, direction, and guidance that ensures successful program execution in achieving all customer requirements and expectations. Steve joined the Advanced Space team after providing exceptional programmatic, organizational, and strategic leadership at Astrobotic as the Vice President for Space Programs and Sierra Space as the Director of Future Architectures. Prior he completed a celebrated 23-year career at NASA from which he retired having earned both the NASA Silver Achievement Award and the prestigious Senior Executive Service Presidential Rank Award – a testament to his outstanding contributions to our nation's space endeavors. He also served as a senior policy analyst at the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) in the Executive Office of the President. Steve brings with him a truly distinguished career that spans the breadth of the aerospace industry for over 42 years with extensive experience in executive leadership, systems engineering, program and project management, and international collaboration. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
