Todd Romberger

Todd Romberger serves as Senior Vice President of the Space Infrastructure Business Unit at Space Florida, where he is responsible for implementation of strategic objectives across all spaceport and space infrastructure related functions of the organization. His area of responsibility includes environmental health and safety, planning and development, operations, and advanced programs. Prior to his current role, Todd served as a Vice President of Commercial Space for Space Florida, where he led business development in the emerging space tech market.

‍Todd started his career as a satellite operator at Bigelow Aerospace,and served as a weightless flight coach for 13 years at ZERO-G where he has flown over 550 zero gravity parabolas. He has also held engineering roles at Lockheed Martin and ASRC Aerospace and served as a crew member of the Mars Desert Research Station in Utah. In 2011, Todd was the first person to drink beer in zero gravity. ‍

Todd holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Central Florida. As an avid scuba diver and certified rescue diver, Todd holds a personal interest in the health of Florida’s coral reefs and is currently completing a Master of Science in Environmental Sciences and Policy from Johns Hopkins University with a focus on ocean studies and coral restoration.
